Ashalyn is Owner/Director of and tour guide for Shasta Vortex Adventures. It is a world-renowned Mt. Shasta tour guide company and Integrative Wellness Center, which has been guiding people on Mount Shasta journeys since 2003. • Sacred Site Tours: We take you to vortex, portal, sacred spring sites, etc. to help you experience the powerful energy of those areas. There we lead guided meditations to assist you in connecting with the energy of place and attaining your intention(s) for the day. Transformation occurs for those who are ready to let go and awaken to their divine self  and life purpose.  These treks are low to medium impact, half- or full-day journeys designed specifically for you or your group at beautiful, serene, awe inspiring sacred sites in the Mt. Shasta area.

• Snowshoe Sacred Site Tours: Just the same as a Sacred Site Trek, only offered in the winter time on the snow in a winter wonderland! Our tours are done on snowshoes in Winter and early Spring. Winter tours hold their own unique magic, with trees gracefully covered in snow, icicles dripping and snowshoes crunching. Have you ever heard the snow fall? Frozen Castle Lake has been called a “cathedral” by some. If you visit there at the right moment, you may hear unique whale-like sounds made by the movements of the frozen ice.

• Guided Vision Quests: This full-day journey includes everything in a Sacred Site Trek and more – focusing specifically on what is needed for your spiritual growth in that moment. This journey is designed for those who are searching for in-depth personal growth, awareness, an understanding of life purpose and what one’s next step might be. State your intention and see where that takes us. At the end of the day, your guide will revisit that intention, make sure you remember lessons learned, inspirations gained and that you know what you need to accomplish next.

• Scenic Vehicle Tours: are for those who aren’t up for much hiking but still want to see as many places as they can in a short period of time. Be sure and bring your camera! Your guide will step into your vehicle and lead you to scenic waterfalls, lakes and mountain vistas while entertaining you with local history, geology, legends and stories about the Mount Shasta area.

• Step-On Bus Guiding: If you are bringing a bus full of people to town (we have no bus of our own), our guide will step onto your bus, pick up the microphone and direct you to beautiful, scenic and historical sites in the Mount Shasta area. We will also share local history, geology, legends and stories about Mount Shasta. Photo opportunities abound. Short walks and guided meditations are also an option, for those who are interested. Our guide can also make your bus tour a Sacred Site Tour. 

• Shamanic Awakening Sessions: One-hour sessions to awaken and enlighten you about who you are, your life purpose, and whatever spirit wants to tell you that day. They may include past life regressions, soul retrieval, inner child work, energy clearing, dimensional journeys to remember where you came from, channeling, connecting you to your higher self, and more. • Retreat & Workshop Guide Service: When you book one of our tour guides for your event or tour that puts you within the USFS guidelines for commercial activities in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Shasta Vortex Adventures operates under a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service which makes it legal for us to offer commercial tours and events on their property. Our guides are certified in CPR and First Aid, have liability insurance, and know this area well. With their help, you will be assured of having a safe, fun, legal and educational event or tour in this area.
