Jennifer Marshall

has been guiding people to connect with nature since 2015, with a focus on the sacred aspects of life. In Ohio she explored the Serpent Mounds, Hocking Hills, multiple Caverns, indigenous sites, and attended many pow-wows there. Niagara Falls, Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, Ida Mountain in Arkansas, multiple sites in New Mexico and Arizona were some of the many places she explored by herself and with others.

In July 2017 she received “the call” from sacred Mount Shasta, and within one year she was a legal resident of Mt. Shasta City. She loves exploring, hiking and camping on the mountain at her new found favorite sites.

In 2021 she was inspired to open “SHE of A Thousand Angels Temple and Wellness Center” in Mt. Shasta City. That space gave the local community and herself sacred spaces to offer retreats, ceremonies, Sound Baths, healing and awakening sessions, and much more. She also started a Community Goddess Garden there, with its own honey bee hives. She also guided spiritual seekers to the sacred sites she had discovered on Mount Shasta.

She truly enjoys passionately sharing the mountain’s beauty, sacredness and magic with visitors from around the world as a tour guide for Shasta Vortex Adventures.

Sacred Site Tours: We take you to vortex, portal, sacred spring sites, etc. to help you experience the powerful energy of those areas. There we lead guided meditations to assist you in connecting with the energy of place and attaining your intentions for the day. Transformation occurs for those who are ready to let go and awaken to their divine self and life purpose. These tours are low to medium impact, 4-hour or 7-hour journeys designed specifically for you or your group at beautiful, serene, awe inspiring sacred sites in the Mount Shasta area.

Sacred Site Tours on Snowshoes: The same as a Sacred Site Tour, only offered in the winter time on the snow in Mount Shasta’s winter wonderland. Our tours are done on snowshoes in Winter and early Spring. Winter tours hold their own unique magic, with trees gracefully covered in snow, icicles dripping and snowshoes crunching. Have you ever heard the snow fall? Frozen Castle Lake has been called a “cathedral” by some. If you visit there before the ice is frozen solid, you may hear unique whale-like sounds that are made by the movements of the frozen ice.

Guided Vision Quests: This 7-hour journey includes everything in a Sacred Site Tour and more – focusing specifically on what’s needed for your spiritual growth in that moment. This journey is designed for those who are searching for in-depth personal growth, spiritual awareness, an understanding of life purpose and what your next step might be. State your intention and see where that takes you. At the end of the day, your guide will revisit that intention, help you remember lessons learned, inspirations gained and help you remember what to accomplish next.

Exploratory Hikes: Pack a lunch, bring a day pack and explore the wonders of the second highest mountain in the Cascade Range with us. Hike the low elevation terrains (9,000 ft. and below) of 14,179 ft. Mount Shasta, to discover hidden springs, meadows, old growth forests, alpine wildflowers, and other natural hidden treasures. Learn about the mountain’s unique geological history, and experience the peace of mind that can be gained by hiking the wilderness. Take a dip (if you dare) in their cool, refreshing snow melt waters. Tell us what you want to experience and we’ll do our best to accomplish that. Or, let your guide surprise you by taking you to their favorite places.

Retreat & Workshop Guide Service: When you book one of our tour guides for your event or tour that puts you within the USFS guidelines for commercial activities in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Shasta Vortex Adventures operates under a Special Use Permit from the U.S. Forest Service which makes it legal for us to offer commercial tours and events on their property. Our guides are certified in CPR and First Aid, have liability insurance, and know this area well. With their help, you will be assured of having a safe, fun, legal and educational event or tour in this area.

Jennifer is the perfect guide if you’re visiting Mount Shasta! Our group of 27 had the most magical time with her assistance and care. What makes a tour with Jennifer so precious is that she LOVES all the places that she takes you to. This is very different than simply knowing their location, their history, and the practical factors in visiting the sites – although that also helps, lol! The deep respect she has for the spirit and ancestor Guardians of the many sacred places we visited is passed on to the group by osmosis! And the meditations and spirit journeys she leads are just amazing. I can’t recommend her tours highly enough.
