Most Saturdays all Winter long: Winter Awareness Clinic - guided by wilderness guide, Robin Kohn. This is an all day training in which you will learn how to appropriately prepare for a winter trip and what to do for a safe fulfilling experience once you arrive. Two hours will be indoor training and the rest is for exploring your new skills in the Mount Shasta backcountry. Such topics as equipment, how to dress, what to eat and drink, familiarity with the area, weather, use of a map and compass, what to do if you get lost or in an emergency, how to deal with injuries, how to prevent winter illnesses such as frostbite, dealing with hypothermia and altitude sickness, reading terrain, and avalanche awareness will be covered.

February 1 - 3: Candlemas/St. Bridget's High Holiday Retreat - with Ashalyn, Beloved and Katrina. A Transformational Luxury Retreat package at The Woodsman Hotel in Mt. Shasta. Local guided sacred site tours, healing, awareness, pampering and more! In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. St. Bridget, an Irish goddess turned Saint, is honored this day for her powers of increase, healing, poetry and the blessings of springs and wells. This is a time to honor the fertility of the land, the blessings of candles, the abundance all around us, and the returning of the light.

March 20 - 22: Imbolc/Spring Equinox Retreat - with Ashalyn, Beloved and Katrina. A Transformational Luxury Retreat package at The Woodsman Hotel in Mt. Shasta. Local guided sacred site tours, healing, awareness, pampering and more! In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. A celebration of Gaia's awakening, the equal balance of day and night as life force begins to rise within the plant (and human) kingdom. What is is that you wish to birth into your life during this most powerful season?

May 1: May Day/Beltane High Holiday Tour - with Ashalyn a guided Sacred SiteTour with Ashalyn, looking for the first hint of wildflowers! In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. May Day brings the promise of fertility of the land for the coming summer days when the light grows stronger. The celebration of the May Pole is an ancient rite of fertility to bless the land throughout the seasons with abundance for all living things.

Ongoing, as warm spring days occur: Sacred Springs Tours - celebration and initiations at various sacred springs in the Mount Shasta area, which are also sacred initiation sites. Everything in nature has a symbolic meaning. Natural springs represent connecting to one's Source. When approaching the site following spiritual preparation and intention, these places have the ability to bring forth deep healing and understanding ...the extent of which is really up to each person.

Written in the natural elements of these sacred sites are stories that can be accessed (sometimes called the Book of Nature) to enhance one's inner awareness. Through the process of meditation and sacred communion with the Earth, each individual has an opportunity to access the powerful healing energies of the site for personal and planetary empowerment.

June 20: Litha/Summer Solstice Tour - a guided Sacred Site Tour with Ashalyn. In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. Celebrate the longest day of the year by gathering St. John's Wort, making salves, discovering local wild flowers, evening bonfire and more. In medieval Europe St. John's Wort was revered for its healing properties of lifting depression and returning of the light. This is a time of making tinctures and salves and putting some of these products aside to bring out for the Winter Solstice.

August 1: Lughnasadh/First Harvest High Holiday Tour - a guided Sacred Site Tour with Ashalyn. In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. A time when gardens are in their abundant glory and harvest dolls are made of wild oats and rye and placed as a blessing at the threshold of every home, insuring abundance in all aspects of life for the rest of the year. The First Harvest celebration reminds one of the blessings of the Earth's precious resources and what we can do to protect them during these times.

September 22: Mabon/Autumn Equinox Tour - a guided Sacred Site Tour with Ashalyn. In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. A time when we come back to the balance of light and dark. The seeds sown in spring are now in their full maturity - a time of the grand harvest festival when brightly colored deciduous trees weave themselves like golden ribbons between the evergreens in the foothills of the Mount Shasta area.

October 31: Samhain/Celtic New Year Retreat - a guided Sacred Site Tours with Ashalyn. In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. A time when the first frosts cover the land in crystallized patterns. Jackie Frost has come to play. Freezing nights are on their way! Leaves release from the trees and cover the landscape, leaving naked branches to blow freely in the gusty winds. This is a time when the veils between the worlds are the thinnest and one can communicate with loved ones that have passed over. It's a time to honor the dead and release from one's own life what is not needed anymore to make way for new growth. This is the wise Crone time...a time of dark nights, the releasing of fears, and the feeding of sacred fires. It's a beginning time where all is born out of darkness and into the light and the circle and the cycles begin again as the seasonal wheel turns.

December 22: Yule/Winter Solstice Tour - a guided Sacred Site Tour with Ashalyn. In our fast paced modern times many have lost our connection to the powerful fertility cycles of the Earth. The longest night of the year - a time to light a candle as we look forward to the light's return and bring out the healing tinctures and salves we made during Summer Solstice. Winter is also the time of hibernation, where we look into our own heart and kindle the flame within. The birth of the Christ child at this time symbolizes the return of the light. On Christmas Eve 800 years ago in Greecio Italy, St. Francis of Assisi created the first Christ Crib filled with sweet grasses and herbs. Those who attended this celebration saw a miracle - a vision of baby Jesus in Francis' arms. This tradition spread throughout all Europe. Master wood carvers created statues of the Holy Family and herbalists gathered the best herbs (cradle grasses) on Summer Solstice for placing in the Christ Crib.
